Rules to Observe forNaga Puja & Consecration:

During the two-day puja, participants who wish to enter the main shrine are required to observe the followings without exception:

  1. Strict vegetarian diet (no egg). Participants have to commit to a vegetarian diet at least for 1 day prior to the Naga Puja, as this is the mandatory precept of the event.
  2. Do not consume any pungent foods (e.g.; garlic, onion etc.)
  3. Do not apply cosmetics, perfumes and fragranced toiletries & do not wear any jewellery.
  4. Do not carry any Dharma pills (Dharma medicine).
  5. Do not burn any incense within the vicinity of the main shrine.
  6. Do not smoke, and do not consume alcohol.
  7. Keep your clothing clean and free from odour or fragrance.

It's important and beneficial to observe these rules for the benefits of self and other. We appreciate your full corporation, and would like to take this opportunity to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

Offering of Wealth Vases to the Nagas in the Ocean

Assemble Place:  

Meeting point at Port Klang Jetty (please be there latest by 8:00am for pre-boarding briefing and instructions)

Ferry Ticket:  

RM60-00/pax

Rules to Observe for Offering of Naga Vases to the Sea:

  1. Strict vegetarian diet (No egg). Participants have to commit to a vegetarian diet at least for 1 day prior to the Naga Puja, as this is the mandatory precept of the event.
  2. Do not consume any pungent foods (e.g.; garlic, onion etc.).
  3. Do not smoke, and do not consume alcohol.
  4. Attire: Participants are advised to be modestly dresses, keep your clothing clean and free from odour or fragrance. NO animal products especially crocodile, snake, and marine lives etc that are related to the Nagas family (eg: leather belt, leather shoes, leather bag etc) should be wore or carried on board.
  5. Do not apply cosmetics, perfumes and fragranced toiletries & Do not wear any jewellery.
  6. Do not carry any Dharma pills (Dharma medicine).

* Rinpoche and Lamas will first conduct a ritual on board of the ferryboat, subsequently all participants will make their offerings to the Nagas in the sea.
