HUNG -- invokes the mind of Guru Rinpoche.

OR-GYEN  YUL-KYI  NUP-CHANG  TSHAM,
In the northwest of the land of Oddiyana,

PE-MA  KE-SAR  DONG-PO  LA,
On the pollen bed of the stem of a lotus,

YA-TSHEN  CH'OG-KI  NGO-DRUP  NYEY,
Endowed with the wondrous supreme attainment (siddhis);

PE-MA JUNG-NE  ZHEY-SU  TRAG,
Renowned as the Lotus-Born (Padmasambhava);

KHOR-TU  KHAN-DRO  MANG-PE  KOR.
Surrounded by a retinue of many Dakinis,

KHYED-KYI  JEY-SU  DAG-DRUB  KYEE,
Following after you,  I will practice,

CHIN-KYEE  LAB-CH'IR  SHEG-SU  SOL,
I beseech  you, come and grant me your blessings,

GU-RU  PE-MA  SID-DHI  HUNG.

The Great Lion, emanation of the three great Bodhisattvas (Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani) and Padmasambhava,

NOR-BU  DRAK-DUL  KA-DOD  PON-YA-KYE,
(With your) Assemblies of Dharma Protectors and Tamer of Mara,

SOL-LO  CHOD-DO  SAM-DON  NYUR-DRUP-DZOD.
